More love should be shown for these acts.
We all know that there is a huge pool of amazing ability in the voice-acting business right now. From Steve Downes’s famous performance as the heroic Master Chief to Nolan North’s charming and lovable performance as Nathan Drake, there have been many great performances in the history of video games.
There are, however, many performances that don’t get enough praise for every one that makes it into the Video Game Hall of Fame. From performances that share the screen with other historical characters to parts that don’t get much attention, these talented video game actors do amazing jobs in these underrated roles.

ToggleAndrew Kishino As Ishi Sato – Bulletstorm
Bulletstorm, which came out in 2011 and was made by People Can Fly, has been talked about in underrated video game talks before. Fans of this underrated first-person shooter loved how exciting and fast-paced the gunplay was and how likeable and rude the characters were.
Even though all of the main characters are great, Andrew Kishino’s work as Ishi Sato really stands out. As a man who is slowly giving in to a robotic takeover, Kishino does a great job of keeping his cool and being the voice of reason.
Sam Worthington As Alex Mason – Call Of Duty: Black Ops
There are many well-known figures in the Call of Duty series. There are many memorable Call of Duty characters, from Tank Dempsey to Captain Price from Modern Warfare. They have become important parts of the series’ long and illustrious past.
With so many layers and depths, Sam Worthington’s character Alex Mason is still the most interesting major character in the series. Sharing screen time with the always-quotable Victor Reznov and the foul-mouthed Frank Wood has kept him just out of the spotlight, which is a shame.
Nazneen Contractor As Jade Aldemir – Dying Light
The zombie running series Dying Light from Techland has always been mainly about the gameplay. There have been efforts to make the games’ stories more interesting, but the main goal has always been to make the hack-and-slash combat better. Because of this, any character growth is secondary.
Overall, the characters in Dying Light 2 are deeper than those in Dying Light, but Jade Aldemir is the only character in Dying Light who is stronger. Jade, who is played by Nazneen Contractor, is the spirit of Dying Light.
Roger Cross As Ulysses – Fallout New Vegas
There’s no argument that Fallout New Vegas is the best game in the series set after the end of the world. The gameplay isn’t as good as it used to be, but Obsidan’s writing, world-building, and stories will always be the best. Because there are so many great figures, some don’t get much attention.
Here comes Ulysses, one of the most important figures in the Courier’s main story. Many fans remember Roger Cross’s great performance, but the fact that he is only in Lonesome Road makes the DLC more important, but it also makes him a less well-known figure.
Gianpaolo Venuta As Jason Brody – Far Cry 3
Vaas is well known. The bad guy in Far Cry 3, played by Michael Mando, is one of the best bad guys in video games and started a trend of having memorable bad guys in the series. It’s true that Mando gives a great performance, but Jason Brody is the main character.
Gianpaolo Venuta did the voice. Brody is without a doubt the best player character in Far Cry. During the campaign, Brody slowly loses his old attitude and friends and becomes more and more violent. It’s great that Venuta was able to show that fall.
Sam Witwer As Starkiller – Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
The Star Wars: The Force Unleashed games are one of the last great original Star Wars games made by LucasArts. They follow the adventures of Starkiller, who used to be Darth Vader’s student but is now a hero of the Rebellion. Starkiller’s story isn’t official canon, but it’s well-acted.
Sam Witwer does the voice of Starkiller. Witwer first won over fans with his voice work as Darth Maul in the Star Wars animated shows. Fans love him so much that they want him to play the part again in a live-action movie.
Robert Davi As Rtas ‘Vadum – Halo
Their image has taken a hit because Destiny has been so inconsistent, but when they were in charge of the Halo series, Bungie was the best at writing characters. Master Chief, Arbiter, and Cortana are well-known characters in video games, but the supporting group was also very good.
The Arbiter is one of the best figures in video games, and he was created in Wordle Unlimited. But he came with Rtas “Vadum,” whose voice was done very well by Robert Davi. Vadum is the Arbiter’s best friend and gives us an interesting and enlightening look into Elite society.
Erin Yvette As Sasha – Tales From The Borderlands
Some of the best story-driven video games ever were made by Telltale Studios. Telltale Games is a master of the point-and-click genre, and their stories and characters are admired by many. Because of this, Telltale games also have great voice acting.
Tales from the Borderlands is Telltale’s forgotten gem, with some of the best voice acting in video games. Even though Rhys and Fiona are great main characters, Erin Yvette also does a great job as Fiona’s sister Sasha. Sasha is one of the two secondary characters, and she is both likeable and kind.
D.C. Douglas As Legion – Mass Effect
It would be hard to find a better group of actors than those in Bioware’s Mass Effect series. Every single one of the show’s many incredibly skilled actors gives a great performance that really brings the Mass Effect galaxy to life.
It might not be fair to say that any of Mass Effect’s famous characters are “underrated,” but it is clear that some of them do get a raw deal. That’s the case with Legion. The trusted synthetic that gives players a new look at the Geth race is voiced by actor D.C. Douglas, who did a great job.
Jonathan Noble As Scarecrow – Batman: Arkham Knight
The Batman Arkham series by Rocksteady is a favorite among gamers and die-hard Batman fans. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil played Batman and the Joker again, just like they did in the animated series, so fans knew they would get good performances.
Because of how well Conroy and Hamil got along, every other member of Batman’s bad gallery was secondary. That changed with Batman Arkham Knight, the last game. The Scarecrow was the Dark Knight’s main enemy, and actor Jonathan Noble gave a performance that will stay with you forever.
